DoorDash says it will give drivers the option to earn a minimum hourly wage

DoorDash said it is changing the way it compensates its food delivery workers by giving them the option of earning a minimum hourly wage, rather than being paid by delivery.

We have seen for the last couple of years that Gig workers are asking for better pay and work culture for the companies they are doing side gig work for. I believe we will continue to see changes coming from many companies. Pay, work hours, and benefits will continue to be discussed to see how we improve the working conditions of gig workers.
